# Updating Foxora

Foxora keeps itself current. Updates are checked on launch and in the background, and applied with a single click.

## How updates arrive

Shortly after launch — and periodically while the app is open — Foxora checks for a new release. When one is available, an update window opens with the new version and a short summary of what changed.

## Installing an update

- Click Install & restart. Foxora downloads the update, showing progress.
- When it’s ready, the app relaunches into the new version.
- Prefer to wait? Dismiss the window — a badge stays in the footer so you can update later.
